This store has been 4 years in the making, due in large part to delays to the building development as a result of the pandemic. Satnam recently opened the doors on the Tame Retail and Trade Park in Tamworth and the store has created a buzz from both staff and guests alike.
Satnam is really pleased with his new store and told us “its layout and overall look have been well received by both staff and customers. I would like to thank all the staff at Five Counties especially Michelle Jelfs who has been by my side throughout the whole process from start to finish. When I opened my first store over 25 years ago, I remember we had ceiling fans and plastic plants and now we have digital screens and a fresh contemporary look in line with our competitors.”
And the final word goes to James Alexander Fleck
“Sometimes in business you really do have to persevere, putting one foot in front of the other, overcoming obstacles in your path and most of time it pays off when you do. I am very proud of the entire Five Counties team who helped deliver this fabulous, spacious and modern Subway location at the new Tame Retail and Trade Park for Satnam Khag, a colleague and good friend who I have had to the pleasure of knowing for over 25 years. Satnam and I both opened our first Subway stores back in the summer of 1999, so for me it has been wonderful to be able to come full circle and work with Satnam again on this new project. Congratulations Satnam and good luck for the future.”
