After graduating from Loughborough University with a Manufacturing Engineering degree and an Environmental Studies Masters degree, she worked in consultancy for ten years, supporting businesses with environmental management, compliance, and eco-design projects.
Her long-standing food service client, Compass Group, then invited her in-house to manage sustainability across the UK and Ireland, where she led their strategy for eight years.
It was here that she developed several award-winning tools to inspire action and was recognized with a Special Achievement Award at the Footprint Awards 2019 for outstanding contribution to sustainability.
Most recently, she served as Head of Sustainability for KFC UK & Ireland for two and a half years. As well as leading the sustainability agenda, she began their net zero journey, defined their waste strategy, and managed ESG compliance.
She is a regular panel judge for the Footprint Awards and a member of the S30 NextGen Forum, a consortium of global sustainability leaders.
